There are zillions of girls out there who struggle to educate themselves sometimes because of poverty, sometimes because of cultural norms and other times because they are empowered enough to think themselves worthy of it. We at halfen handwork continuously to erase that.

Women Empowerment

More than half of the work done by women in India is unpaid, and almost all of it is informal and unprotected. It is extremely important for their voices to be heard and for them to feel empowered for what they do.

Hygiene maintenance

Only 18% of women in India have access to proper sanitation and hygiene in India. That leaves the others at risk of contracting serious diseases like cervical cancer and long term infections. We at Halfen Hand are striving our way towards changing these numbers drastically.

About Us

Help is Our Main Goal

Every day there are several girls across the country who are not able to go to school.The reasons vary from poverty to poor infrastructure to fragility to cultural norms and sometimes extends towards violence. There are several women who have the right skills but not the right exposure and sometimes not the right support. We at Halfen Handwork continuously towards reducing these numbers and supporting girl child education and women empowerment through every means possible. We also strive towards facilitating the basic hygiene supplies for women as well as essentials for the underprivileged. Together we dream of making this world a little better place to live in, striking one tick at a time.

We also aim at promoting education to the underprivileged as that is the means to learn the socio-economic and skills necessary to both adapt as well parse through the changing world, empower them to make decisions of their own life and then contribute to the country and community likewise.
